My obsession with light?

Because it means evolution - revolution. The pillars of our world, which is a light world, fictional, mental. We do not trace the world; we simulate the world and even so, it is the bond, the most revealing link of the real. The primary nucleus of knowledge. Light; because it impresses me as something so intangible, impalpable, almost immaterial; that has produced, changed, signified and perturbed Man to such an extent. Not only for our species but for life itself. Light, which is as if it was nothing. No edges. No mass. I want to infiltrate interventions on a useful point of balance. So that it doesn’t collapse in the usefulness of architecture but so that it doesn’t fall into ruin in the uselessness of environmental sculpture. Let us define it as interactive interventions; where the one who interacts can live, not in a parasitic but in an experiential sense.

Light’s form of conduct inundates space, filtering to our consciences through the pores of vision, generating worlds, and creating a powerful bond between exterior and interior; it is replicated by my aesthetic ambitions. What interests me is using spaces, creating habitats, where consciences can penetrate, where they can drift away and become free.

PAINT

I use painting in works that reproduce or represent themselves, from their means and with their very own condition of being. The method as an action; the process as an end. What predominates is its sensorial function due to its physical properties, those of texture, color, odor, energy, weight, density and volume. Everything supported by an image or the object itself.

Of interest is the moment when the object interferes with its image; where magically that image begins to be as real as the object.
