SPECIES ONE 2014 Nestor Alvarez, Cristian Cuevas

“Species one” is based on the bio-luminescence of such living organisms as fungi and coral. The arrangement and emplacement generate organic coexistence within static space, life on the walls; bathing the ambiance with caustic shadows, alluding to cellular cyto-skeletons. The projections also possess sensitivity to movement within the enclosure, responding with mutations of these patterns of light.
